How to Add Indicators on TradeLocker Charts

TradeLocker gives you access to TradingView-powered charts, which include a wide selection of technical indicators for market analysis. Adding indicators is quick and easy on both desktop and mobile apps.

Step 1: Open the TradeLocker App

Download and install the TradeLocker desktop or mobile app directly from your GatesFX Client Portal at
https://secure.gatesfx.com/login. After installation, open the app and log in with your GatesFX trading account credentials.

Step 2: Open a Chart

• Tap or click on an instrument from your Watchlist.

• The TradingView-powered chart will load instantly for that instrument.

Step 3: Access the Indicators Menu

• On Desktop:
  Click the Indicators (ƒx) icon at the top of the chart.

• On Mobile:
  Tap the chart to reveal the menu, then select Indicators (ƒx).

Step 4: Choose an Indicator

• Browse the available list of indicators and select one to apply, such as:

  • Moving Average (MA)

  • Relative Strength Index (RSI)

  • MACD

  • Bollinger Bands

  • Volume

    
    Tip: You can add multiple indicators to the same chart for deeper analysis.

Step 5: Customize Indicator Settings

• Adjust parameters like period, source, and style.

• Change colors and line thickness for better visibility.

• Click Apply to save changes.

Step 6: Remove an Indicator (If Needed)

• Open the Indicators menu again.

• Click the X next to the indicator you want to remove.
