How to Close and Modify Orders in TradeLocker
TradeLocker makes managing open positions simple and intuitive. You can close trades instantly or modify orders visually using drag-and-drop on the chart—no complicated menus needed.
Step 1: Open the TradeLocker App
Download and install the TradeLocker desktop or mobile app directly from your GatesFX Client Portal at
https://secure.gatesfx.com/login. After installation, open the app and log in with your GatesFX trading account credentials.
Step 2: View Your Open Positions
Tap or click the Positions tab to see all active trades.
Each position shows details like instrument, lot size, profit/loss, and current price.
Step 3: Close a Trade
You have two options:
Option 1: From the Positions Tab
Locate the trade you want to close.
Tap or click Close.
Confirm to exit the position instantly.
Option 2: From the Chart
Open the chart for your active trade.
Tap or click the X (Close) button on the order line to close it immediately.
Step 4: Modify an Existing Order (Drag & Drop)
TradeLocker allows you to adjust Stop Loss and Take Profit visually:
Open the chart for your trade.
Find the entry line with SL/TP markers.
Click and drag the SL or TP line up or down to adjust levels.
Release the line—the platform updates the order instantly.
