How to Create and Save Chart Layouts in TradeLocker
TradeLocker allows you to save customized chart layouts, so you don’t have to reapply indicators, drawings, and settings every time you log in. This feature is available on both desktop and mobile apps.
Step 1: Open the TradeLocker App
Download and install the TradeLocker desktop or mobile app directly from your GatesFX Client Portal at
https://secure.gatesfx.com/login. After installation, open the app and log in with your GatesFX trading account credentials.
Step 2: Customize Your Chart
Add indicators (e.g., Moving Averages, RSI, MACD).
Apply your preferred chart type (candlestick, line, bar).
Adjust colors, timeframes, and drawing tools.
Step 3: Save the Layout
On Desktop:
Click the Layouts menu (usually in the top toolbar).
Select Save Layout and give it a name (e.g., “Scalping Setup”).
On Mobile:
Tap the menu icon on the chart.
Select Save Layout and enter a name.
Step 4: Load a Saved Layout
Open the Layouts menu again and select your saved layout.
Your indicators, chart settings, and tools will load instantly.
Step 5: Update an Existing Layout
If you make changes and want to overwrite the current setup:
Click Save Layout again and confirm overwrite when prompted.
