How to Log In to MetaTrader 5 with Your GatesFX Account

Once you’ve installed MetaTrader 5 (MT5) on your desktop or mobile device, the next step is to log in with your GatesFX trading account credentials. Follow the steps below to get started.

Step 1: Open MetaTrader 5

Launch the MT5 platform on your desktop, web browser, or mobile app (iOS/Android).

Step 2: Navigate to “Log in to Trade Account”

• On Desktop:

  • Click File in the top menu.

  • Select Log in to Trade Account.

• On Mobile App:

  • Tap Settings.

  • Select New Account → Log in to an Existing Account.

Step 3: Enter Your GatesFX Credentials

You’ll need:

• Login ID: (Provided in your GatesFX client portal after creating your trading account)

• Password: (Set during account creation)

• Server: Choose the correct server name listed in your GatesFX client portal.

Step 4: Click “OK” or “Login”

Once your credentials are entered correctly:

• Your account will connect to the MT5 server.

• You’ll see real-time quotes and account details appear in the platform.

Important Notes

Once your credentials are entered correctly:

• Ensure you’ve selected the correct server (Live or Demo).

• If you’ve forgotten your password, reset it in your GatesFX Client Portal.

• For multiple accounts, repeat this process for each account.
