How to Complete KYC Verification on GatesFX
Completing your KYC verification is a simple but essential step to unlock full access to your GatesFX account. Follow this step-by-step guide to get verified quickly and securely.
Step 1: Prepare Your Documents
Before you start, make sure your required documents are ready. The KYC process is powered by SumSub, a leading provider of secure identity verification. The session will time out after one hour, so having your documents prepared will save time.
Required Documents:
Proof of Identity (POI):
Acceptable documents: Passport, Driver’s License, National ID card, or any government-issued ID with your photo and date of birth.
Liveliness Check:
A quick selfie to confirm you are the person in the documents provided.
Step 2: Log in to Your GatesFX Client Portal
https://secure.gatesfx.com/register/
Step 3: Start the KYC Process
Inside your client portal:
Click Settings in the left navigation menu.
Select Verify Now to launch the SumSub KYC process.
Step 4: Accept Terms of Use
Click I Agree and Continue to proceed with SumSub’s secure verification process. Then select your country of residence. Ensure the selected country matches the issuing country of the identity document you will use.
Step 5: Upload Proof of Identity
Use your device camera to capture a clear photo of your POI document.
Ensure the photo is well-lit and all four corners are visible.
Accepted documents: Passport, Driver’s License, National ID.
Step 6: Complete the Liveliness Check
This is the final verification step.
Position your face in the center of the circle.
Slowly rotate your head in a clockwise direction until you see the green success bar.
Step 7: Document Review & Approval
SumSub will review your documents.
Most checks are completed in seconds, but it can take up to 10 minutes.
Once approved, full account access is granted.
If an issue occurs, you’ll receive an email from SumSub with details and a direct link to resolve it.
